Under de senaste \u00e5ren har behandlingsm\u00f6jligheterna \u00f6kat avsev\u00e4rt och mycket arbete g\u00f6rs f\u00f6r att hj\u00e4lpa m\u00e4nniskor att leva l\u00e4ngre och med b\u00e4ttre livskvalitet.   <\/h3>\n<\/div><div class=\"site-padding\">\n<p>L\u00e4karna kan diskutera din prognos &#8211; som beskriver vilken v\u00e4g de tror att sjukdomen kommer att ta. Den mesta informationen om prognosen ges i form av &#8221;5-\u00e5rs\u00f6verlevnad&#8221;. Denna term anv\u00e4nds ofta av sjukv\u00e5rdspersonal och avser antalet personer som levt i 5 \u00e5r eller mer efter att ha diagnostiserats med olika typer av lungcancer.  <\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"site-padding\">\n<p>Det \u00e4r viktigt att komma ih\u00e5g att alla \u00e4r olika och att din tum\u00f6r kanske inte svarar p\u00e5 behandlingen p\u00e5 samma s\u00e4tt som en annan persons tum\u00f6r. Statistik \u00e5terspeglar inte n\u00f6dv\u00e4ndigtvis vad som kommer att h\u00e4nda med dig. Du b\u00f6r se din prognos som en v\u00e4gledning &#8211; och diskutera den med din v\u00e5rdpersonal.  <\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"site-padding\">\n<p>Det finns flera olika typer av lungcancer som kr\u00e4ver en rad olika behandlingar. Din behandlingsplan kommer att baseras p\u00e5 vilken typ av lungcancer du har och i vilket stadium den befinner sig, ditt allm\u00e4nna h\u00e4lsotillst\u00e5nd och dina personliga preferenser.
